China GA-HFB Air Dryer - Reliable Suppliers & Factory for Efficient Refrigerating Dryers

The refrigerating dryer is designed to effectively lower the temperature of compressed air using the evaporator of a refrigerating system. This process facilitates the condensation of moisture, producing a reliable source of dry compressed air. However, it's important to note that simply cooling the compressed air does not guarantee complete moisture removal. Due to the high velocity of compressed air, a significant amount of condensed water may not be expelled effectively, leading to excessive water content at the service end. As a leading manufacturer in China, our factory offers high-quality refrigerating dryers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our customers. Trust our suppliers to provide the best solutions for your compressed air needs.

    Functional Characteristics

    The refrigerating dryer uses the low temperature of the evaporator of the refrigerating system, let's lower the temperature of the compressed air, and then condense the water out, to obtain a dry compressed air source; but cooling the compressed air doesn't necessarily mean the water will be expelled, because a lot of condensed water will be taken away from the refrigerated dryer due to the rapid flow of compressed air, resulting in the phenomenon of excessive water content at the service end;

GA series air-cooled refrigerating dryer is a new machine developed to solve this problem. The main feature is that the horizontal evaporator is designed with an upright differential configuration. At the bottom of the evaporator is equipped with a refrigerant high-pressure secondary condensation device. This careful design not only makes the cooling system load more stable, the principle of gravity is also used to make the condensed water more difficult to be carried away from the evaporator by the fast-moving compressed air due to the relationship between gravity, so that the condensed water can be completely discharged.

Correct Method of Selecting a Cold Dryer

Under different working conditions, the air volume of all kinds of cold drying machines will be different. To choose a suitable cold drying machine, five factors such as the flow rate of compressed air, pressure, inlet temperature, ambient temperature and required pressure dew point must be considered.

Example: The nameplate of the air compressor indicates that the exhaust volume is 5.2m³/min, the exhaust pressure is 0.8MPa, the maximum exhaust temperature is 50℃, the ambient temperature of the machine room is 38℃, and the target pressure dew point is 10℃.

    Processing capacity of the cold drying machine = 5.2 Nm³/min ÷ 0.75 ÷ 1.12 ÷ 1.0 = 6.2 Nm³/min

The cold-drying model to be selected is GA-50HFB.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How does a refrigerating dryer obtain dry compressed air?
It uses the low temperature of the refrigerating system's evaporator to lower the temperature of the compressed air, which condenses the water out to obtain a dry compressed air source.
Why does excessive water content occur at the service end of standard dryers?
Cooling alone does not guarantee water expulsion. The rapid flow of compressed air can carry a large amount of condensed water away from the dryer, resulting in excessive water content at the service end.
How does the GA series air-cooled refrigerating dryer prevent water carryover?
It uses an upright differential configuration for the horizontal evaporator and is equipped with a refrigerant high-pressure secondary condensation device at the bottom. This utilizes gravity to prevent the fast-moving compressed air from carrying the condensed water away.
What factors are essential for selecting the correct cold dryer?
You must consider five key factors: the flow rate of the compressed air, the working pressure, the inlet temperature, the ambient temperature, and the required pressure dew point.
How is the processing capacity of a cold dryer calculated?
It is calculated by dividing the exhaust volume of the air compressor by the correction coefficients of the specific working conditions (e.g., Exhaust Volume ÷ Coefficient 1 ÷ Coefficient 2 ÷ Coefficient 3).
