Breathing air purification
BS-MT multitronic series
Compressed air from the compressor contains impurities such as solid
particles, condensate, oil components, odour and flavour substances
and other harmfu) gases.
The ZANDER breathing air purification
unit Series BS-MT dependably removes and reduces these components
from the compressed air. The ZANDER microfilters Series X reliably
remove the solid and liquid impurities with 0.01 um and 0.01 mg/m3
filtration efficiency.
The compressed air saturated with
moisture is then fed into the dryer. For the adsorption the air
flows through the adsorption chamber from the bottom to the top,
A special desiccant mixture retains the moisture and reduces the
fraction of the various gases which could be harmful to the human
organism
Dry clean compressed air leaves
the adsorption dryer. Parallel to the adsorption, regeneration takes
place in the second adsorption chamber. A partial flow of decompressed
dried regenerating air flows through the adsorber which is to be
regenerated in counterflow, removes the moisture picked up by the
desiccant and then escapes into the open atmosphere via the downstream
muffler.
The continual pressure change in
operation requires a pressure build-up during the cycles and guarantees
pulsation free switchover from regeneration to adsorption. The activated
carbon catalyst charge of the downstream cleaning stage removes
odour and flavour substances, oil vapours, various gas fractions
and carbon monoxide. The universal filter retains any particles
of the adsorbers. |
